I have an $80 grocery bucket. Today I spent $52. I could either:

  1. Send it to my savings, either one account or spread out evenly over my savings buckets, short, medium, long-term.
  2. Lock my groceries bucket with the remainder to, when next weeks pay arrives, add the difference to ensure $80 is in that bucket, and no more, or roll that amount over to the following week.
